Milo is a one year old Labrador crossbreed who needs to come into our care due to the ill health of his owner which means she is unfortunately unable to offer the care & exercise he needs.
He is a typical, bouncy youngster and new owners will need to be willing to take him to training classes and work with him to achieve his full potential. He will also need plenty of exercise as he gets older as well as mental stimulation to keep him occupied.
Milo was friendly and sociable with our volunteer who carried out his in-home assessment, he was happy to be stroked all over and interacted well with her.
He is fine with other dogs but can be a bit much with small dogs so any canine companion in his home would be best if he/she was medium or bigger, and is currently living with a cat but does like to try and play with it so any cat in his new home would need to be confident and ideally dog-savvy. He can also live with children – we would suggest older children only simply because of his size, he may accidentally knock over smaller children in is excitement.
We would like a dog experienced home for Milo, he is larger than Labrador size so if you have large breed experience as well that would be ideal.
This beautiful boy will be a great addition for the right home and will repay your efforts in helping him reach his potential a million times over.
