Many of our dogs are waiting for loving foster homes-- Could you be a foster carer?
Where possible we prefer to place our rescue dogs in foster homes which helps to maintain their house training and socialisation whilst they wait for a permanent home of their own. We have a network of foster carers nationwide but we are always in need of more volunteers. Foster carers play an extremely valuable role in reintegrating our dogs into a normal loving family environment. In our experience rescue dogs have a much smoother transition into their permanent homes if they have received care and rehabilitation from a committed foster home.
We take in dogs from the local pound and private hand ins. We primarily keep our spaces at the kennels for the poundies as they are our priority, so at times with the private hand-ins we are looking to move them straight from their current homes into a foster home.
